Author Guidelines

Here we show primary factors that you need to adjust before submitting a manuscript to the Jurnal Inovasi Ekonomi (JIKO):

A. Empirical manuscript

1. The title is presented in an informative, concise, and exciting manner

2. Attach the name of the author, institution, email, and country

3. An abstract is written concisely by containing the research objectives, the methods used, the results and conclusions. Maximum 200 words

4. Introduction, describes the problems that underlie your research. Give arguments with qualified references to debate or justify previous studies. Next, come up with gap analysis and novelty that you offer argumentatively along with supporting references. At the end of the introduction, confirms the purpose of the study and the contribution

5. Research Methods, present data types, data sources, and data collection methods. Convey the process, model, or approach used in the research clearly and concisely

6. Results and discussion, please present the results systematically, concisely, and clearly. Next, compare your findings with various literatures, both of which tend to support or contradict. If there is a contradiction, convey the possible cause based on your analysis accompanied by supporting theories or other relevant research results

7. Conclusions, based on the discussion you have made, conclude the finding. The conclusion must answer the research objectives in the introduction

8. Reference, use reference managers like Mendeley, use primary references from journals for a maximum of the last ten years. Use APA 6th Style

B. Theoretical manuscript

6. Conclude remark, Present theories or concepts explicitly. The theory or concept offered is based on the important points outlined in the previous section

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
