ABSTRACT

Mobile is not only used as a communication tool, but is also used to exploit (utilizing mobile technology to excess) himself. The amount of things that can do with mobile phones (telephone, SMS, MMS, Internet, photos, audio and video), coupled with the more modest rate call by using Mobile, making interaction with Mobile more frequent and longer, however unwitting that side effects or effect on the health effects of mobile phones. Design research is causal experimental research, it is because in this study no treatment (treatment) to the object under study, in this case the treatment aims to measure the effect of the use of a headset to mobile phone radiation. The results showed that by using headsets reduce radiation effects, from measurements of blood pressure, pulse, and a sensation of dizziness.

ABSTRAK

Handphone tidak hanya digunakan sebagai alat komunikasi, tapi juga digunakan untuk mengeksploitasi (memanfaatkan teknologi Handphone secara berlebihan) dirinya. Banyaknya hal yang bisa dilakukan dengan Handphone (telephone, SMS, MMS, Internet, Foto, audio dan Video), dibarengi dengan semakin murahnya tarip bertelpon dengan menggunakan Handphone, menjadikan interaksi dengan Handphone semakin sering dan lama, namun demikian tanpa disadari bahwa efek samping atau dampak Handphone berpengaruh pada kesehatan. Design riset adalah riset kausal eksperimental, hal ini karena dalam penelitian ini ada perlakuan (treatment) kepada obyek yang diteliti, dalam hal ini treatment bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh penggunaan headset terhadap radiasi handphone. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa dengan menggunakan headset mengurangi dampak radiasi, dari hasil pengukuran tekanan darah, denyut nadi, dan sensasi pusing.
