Author Guidelines

About Writing Article

1. The Author ensure that manuscript upload in the Journal Sospol submission system is his/her original work. The articles have not been published in whole or in part to any media and are not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
2. The author is an academician, scholar, professionals or expert who write on the field of social sciences involve communication, sociology, governance, social welfare, and international relations topics.
3. The articles are written in Indonesian or English (4000-6000 words), typed on A-4 paper, with normal margin border.
4. The title should representing the content of the manuscript. It consist of more than 14 words and written by tittle case
5. Author Identity listed without title. The identity of author consist of affiliation. If the article written by more than one author's with similar affiliation, the affiliation no need to be listed separately. Only corresponding author listed by the postal address at the bottom line of the article.
6. Abstract written in English and Bahasa Indonesia with 150-250 words in length. Keywords written in Italic style and contain of 5 words.
7. Systematics Writing consists of Introduction, Method, Result and Discussion, Conclusion, References. Acknowledgements, are addressed to all people or parties involved or assist in the completion of research activities (if any)
8. Citation writing in the form of direct quotations are written in 11-point font size, single-space and indented 1 cm from the left and right margin.
9. Manuscript aimed to using 80% primary resources and currently 10 years publications. The author must put URL. It is recommended to use Sospol journal article by the similar topics to be as the one of reference list. 
10. Reference and citation style comply with American Psychological Association (APA) 6th Edition. The author puts the citation on body text (no footnote).
11. Tables, figures, graphics, and charts as the ilustration to support the argument must be mentioned in the paragraphEnsure the illustrations is editable used Ms Word and in the form of black and white (No colours). 
12. Writing paragraph systematically avoid the use of dot points, aggregation, or sequential numbering downwards but written as a part of paragraph.


Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. Author understand Publication Ethics. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (free plagiarism) and suitable with template
  2. The submission file is in Ms Word or RTF document file format. Ensure to remove identity and affiliations of author (blind review)
  3. Manuscript used 80% primary resources and currently 10 years publications. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is garamound font type. Citation style, figures, and tables are written based on author guidelines
