Program pengolahan industri kecil Ledre Pisang Raja memang bisa meningkatkan pendapatan, tetapi sayangnya kegiatan tersebut dilakukan di rumah atau di lingkup domestik, dan orientasi usahanya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga. Karena untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga maka program pengolahan Ledre Pisang Raja tersebut sasarannya adalah para ibu rumah tangga. Ini berarti dalam program pengolahan Ledre Pisang Raja terdapat gejala bias gender. Karena di sini perempuan yang akhirnya harus mengolah, sehingga beban kerja perempuan menjadi ganda, yaitu sebagai ibu rumah tangga dan sebagai penambah penghasilan keluarga.
