Edukasi dan Simulasi Proses Pembuatan Tepung Daun Singkong di Desa Kedungpangan Sidoarjo

Purpose – The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and skill of Kedung Pandan’s people in optimizing the diversification of cassava leaf processed into flour.

Design/methodology/approach – The implement methods includes presentation, discussions, training and mentoring programs including training on the process of making dodol and applicaton of Good Manufacturing Practices or GMP, an evaluation stage.

Findings – Training activities are conducted by producing outpus such as seaweed porridge processing techniques, packaged dodol products. The evaluation results show the high desire of Kedung pandan village’s people to develop seaweed, that easy to find but innovation and creation are still needed so the product can become icon of Desa Wisata Bahari Tlocor.

Originality/Value – Through this community service, we can diversify seaweed, add value added of seaweed and created a snack icon for the Desa Wisata Bahari Tlocor.

Pelatihan Budidaya Tanaman Organik dan Pengolahan Makanan Sehat pada Guru Raudhatul Athfal Sukorejo

Purpose – The aim of this activity is to improve the knowledge and skills of Raudhatul Athfal teachers in cultivating organic plants and processing healthy food as an effort to encourage students to enjoy eating vegetables and fish.

Design/methodology/approach – The method of implementing community service is to use a training approach, activity evaluation and mentoring. The training activities were carried out on July 31, 2024 and August 10, 2024 in the meeting room and yard of IGRA Sukorejo. The training activity was then continued with mentoring activities and an evaluation of the training. The results of the activity evaluation are used for technical recommendations for mentoring target partners.

Findings – The result of this community service activity is that teachers of Raudhatul Athfal Sukorejo gain knowledge and information about organic plant cultivation and healthy food processing with raw materials available around their homes. The evaluation results show an increase in the knowledge and skills of teachers in plant cultivation and healthy food processing. This is indicated by the presence of target partners who have started to apply technology and have succeeded in making healthy food at their workplace and at home.

Originality/value – This community service activity provides environmentally friendly and safe organic plant cultivation technology for early childhood, in addition to food processing using raw materials that are usually grown at home or in Raudhatul Athfal educational units. The technology provided becomes material in the Raudhatul Athfal (RA) or PAUD Learning Implementation Plan.

Penyuluhan Interaksi Obat dengan Nutrien sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Kesadaran Kesehatan Masyarakat Gadingkembar

Purpose – Consuming drugs together with food or drink has become a community habit, especially in Gadingkembar. This habit hurts body health for certain conditions as a side effect. Therefore, this outreach aims to increase the health awareness of the Gadingkembar regarding drug interactions with nutrients.

Design/methodology/approach– This counseling was carried out using a Community-Based Interactive Approach (CBIA) through the PKK and Gadingkembar Posyandu. This counseling involved health experts from the Jabung Health Center. The population in the activity is the entire community in Gadingkembar. Meanwhile, samples as a result of extension activities were taken randomly from participants who were involved in extension assistance. Extension assistance activities are carried out through three stages, namely Preparation, Implementation, and Evaluation.

Findings – The results of counseling assistance activities showed a significant change in public understanding after counseling on drug interactions with nutrients. These results also confirmed through observations of people who were taking medication. It is valid that the community has understood well and in practice, the impact of the extension has been considered successful.

Originality/value – This Counseling activity can increase awareness and change the behavior of the Gadingkembar regarding drug interactions with nutrients in the form of food or drinks for better health.

Transformasi Masyarakat Desa: Pengembangan Pemasaran dan Kemitraan

Purpose – Community service on economic empowerment through entrepreneurship development and skills in Padanglampe' Village, Pangkep Regency, aims to improve the welfare and empowerment of the local community.

Design/methodology/approach – This service utilizes a participatory and qualitative approach to identify the needs and economic potential of the community, as well as to develop entrepreneurship training and mentoring programs. Throughout the implementation of this service, a series of training and workshops were conducted, focusing on entrepreneurial skill development and business management. Additionally, direct mentoring and guidance were provided to local business groups to assist them in implementing the knowledge and skills they have acquired. The community service program has successfully fostered collaboration and social networks among local entrepreneurs, increasing community involvement in developing the local economy sustainably.

Findings – As a result of this service, there has been a development of local businesses and a reduction in the unemployment rate in Padanglampe' Village, where the community actively engages in entrepreneurship by managing the existing potentials in the village.

Originality/value –The benefits of this service include collaboration among local business actors, creating a conducive environment for local economic growth and village community income

Pelatihan Strategi Pemasaran Pisang “Sang Mulyo”

Purpose –The purpose of this community service activity was to enhance the local community's knowledge and skills in digital marketing, specifically focusing on the marketing of the local banana variety “Sang Mulyo.” By providing training in marketing strategies and the use of digital platforms, this initiative aimed to empower the residents of Sri Mulyo Village to expand their market reach, optimize their product sales, and increase the competitiveness of local micro-enterprises. Additionally, the program sought to support the long-term economic sustainability of the village through the integration of digital marketing solutions.

Design/methodology/approach – This research utilized a community engagement-based approach, combining training, mentoring, and simulation methods. The development of online training media was implemented to enhance the digital marketing skills of SMEs in Srimulyo Village, Dampit District, specifically for "Sang Mulyo" banana derivative products. An initial assessment identified local challenges, followed by tailored digital marketing training and marketplace simulation. Continuous mentorship ensured the effective use of marketplace platforms, and participants developed action plans for sustained marketing efforts. Data collection included observation, questionnaires, and interviews, with an evaluation on the impact of digital marketing on product sales and production.

Findings –The initial phase began with a preliminary survey of the conditions in Srimulyo Village, Dampit District, focusing on the marketing and product development of "Sang Mulyo" banana derivatives. The team, accompanied by the head of the SriMulyo Farmers Group, identified key issues within the community. Based on these findings, the team formulated training materials. The first phase of the community service activity was conducted on December 20, 2024, at the Srimulyo Village hall. During this phase, basic knowledge about marketplaces, practical application, and step-by-step marketplace creation were introduced. Additionally, platforms like Shopee and Tokopedia were presented as tools for expanding market reach.

Originality/value – Overall, the marketing strategy training will have a positive impact on the community. The local population now greatly needs adaptive marketing skills to keep pace with technological advancements. By leveraging digital platforms, the community has a greater opportunity to optimize the sales of their local products in a broader market.

Aplikasi Lamikro: Solusi Rendahnya Tingkat Pelaporan Keuangan UMKM di Kabupaten Dompu

Purpose – The purpose of this community service is to improve the ability of MSME actors in terms of digital financial recording using the LAMIKRO application and provide an understanding of digital marketing and how to manage business registration numbers (NIB) for MSMEs.

Design/methodology/approach – The methods used in this community service program consist of the socialization stage, training stage, and mentoring stage. The number of MSMEs involved in this program is 27 MSMEs in Dompu Regency.

Findings – The results of this training showed quite satisfactory results and were in accordance with the expected targets. Partners felt significant benefits, namely having the ability to record financial transactions with the LAMIKRO application. In addition, partners understand the process of marketing products digitally through social media and can apply for a business registration number (NIB) online easily.

Originality/value – This community service program has never been carried out on program partners, so it will focus on two main areas, namely education and information technology and the field of MSME business management.
