The prevalence of alcohol consumption among adolescents in Indonesia is 3.3% of them starting to drink at the age of 10, and most of them are traditional alcoholic beverages (38.7%). This community service program aims to reduce alcohol consumption among teenagers. There are two activities involved in this community service: education on alcohol prevention and screening of alcohol consumption. We carried the activity at Muhammadiyah 3 Singosari Vocational High School Malang. The participants were 57 students. This activity resulted in an increase in students' understanding of preventing alcohol consumption, with an average before the education of 5.40. In contrast, after being given education, it's score increased to 6.16. Most of the students at SMK do not consume alcohol or are shown in the normal category of 86.9%. However, some still consume 3.3% alcohol in the heavy category. This activity concludes that the provision of education can increase the understanding of adolescents, and then it is hoped that it will prevent alcohol consumption among adolescents. Follow-up efforts from the screening results are carried out by continuing to provide education, counseling, and further diagnostic examinations for adolescents.</em></p> 2022-11-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2022 Yoyok Bekti Prasetyo, Nurul Humaidi, Rahmad Wijaya https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/altruis/article/view/22997 Peningkatan keterampilan motorik halus melalui kegiatan menggunting pada siswa TK A 2022-11-18T09:22:00+07:00 Oktriana Maya Safira mayasafira2110@gmail.com Noer Suci Endah nse.puspitaningrum@umg.ac.id Muhimmatul Hasanah muhimmatul@umg.ac.id <p><em>Early childhood education is a fundamental education, where the most important thing is the development of the child himself. In early childhood gross motor and fine motor development greatly influences the individual's activities. Fine motor development can be improved through cutting activities. This service aims to improve fine motor skills through cutting activities for kindergarten students. The subjects of this service are 3 students. This service uses the A-B-A design, which shows a stronger influence than the other designs. The results obtained from this dedication were that in the pre-test, the three subjects received an average score of 33% which can be categorized as not good, while in the post-test, the three subjects received an average score of 66% which can be categorized as sufficient. Two subjects experienced an increase during the activity, while one subject did not experience an increase even though the intervention was given. It can be concluded that in this service, there is an increase in fine motor skills through cutting activities.</em></p> 2022-11-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2022 Oktriana Maya Safira, Noer Suci Endah, Muhimmatul Hasanah https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/altruis/article/view/23327 Penerapan permainan tradisional congklak lidi sebagai media membangun karakter anak sekolah dasar 2022-11-21T14:15:50+07:00 Iswinarti Iswinarti iswinarti.psi@gmail.com Putri Saraswati psaraswati@umm.ac.id <p>Character building of children basically aims to educate children to have the best performance and be moral. Traditional games are inherited and contain noble values. Traditional games contain values that can be used as media to build children's character. The Congklak Lidi game is a traditional game that contains high values for characters such as morals, problem-solving, and self-control. The problem of this activity partner was the unavailability of facilities, infrastructure, and resources to implement these traditional games. The purpose of this program was to apply the traditional game of Congklak Lidi to elementary school children in order to install positive values to build children's character, such as problem-solving, unyielding spirit, self-control, and honesty. The Congklak Lidi game program was applied to 29 children aged 6-12 years (grades 1st – 6th). The program was planned to be implemented in partner schools, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the implementation was carried out in several areas in East Java according to the area of origin of each facilitator. The result of this program is the congklak lidi can be implemented at home hence the children’s characters can be learned.</p> 2022-11-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2022 Iswinarti Iswinarti, Putri Saraswati https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/altruis/article/view/23188 Pelatihan kematangan berkarier untuk pengambilan keputusan karier pada siswa kelas XII di SMAN 1 Kedamean 2022-11-18T09:29:41+07:00 Sindi Nurmantika Putri sindinurma87@gmail.com Awang Setiawan Wicaksono awangwicaksono@umg.ac.id Nadhirotul Laily nadhirotul.laily@umg.ac.id <p><em>SMA is a secondary education level that prioritizes the preparation of students to continue higher education or to a career path. In order for individuals to be eligible to work in a place, individuals are required to have expertise adapted to the job they want. Individuals must have career maturity in order to be able to get success and satisfaction in their work. Career maturity helps a person to gain success and satisfaction at work because his career is in accordance with his talents and interests. However, at SMAN 1 Kedamean the school has never provided guidance or training to students who wish to continue on to a career path. The school only focuses on helping and directing students who wish to continue on to higher education. Therefore, researchers are interested in providing career maturity training to class XII students who wish to continue on to a career path so that students are able to make decisions and prepare for their career choices. The training was conducted for three days and was attended by eleven students. The results obtained after the training was given were that all participants experienced improvements related to their career maturity. The training is also able to help students to make choices and make decisions regarding their desired career according to their talents and interests.</em></p> 2022-11-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2022 Sindi Nurmantika Putri, Awang Setiawan Wicaksono, Nadhirotul Laily https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/altruis/article/view/23452 Efektivitas permainan monopoli untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang budaya Sulawesi Selatan pada siswa di Runiah School 2022-11-28T09:06:48+07:00 Sri Rindayani sririndahyani01@gmail.com Thesa Aulia Pandung Radha thesaradha@gmail.com Yusuf Muhammad Nur jr1132000@gmail.com Sri Rahayu srirahayu220301@gmail.com Sri Wahyuni Salman sriwahyunisalmansukmah@gmail.com Eva Meizara Puspita Dewi eva.meizara@unm.ac.id <p><em>Monopoly game is a game specially modified to be used as a learning medium.
