KOMITMEN ORGANISASI DITINJAU DARI MASA KERJA KARYAWAN

Komitmen organisasi menjadi titik berat dalam perusahaan yang akan memutuskan pekerja tetap berada pada organisasi atau tidak. Masa kerja merupakan kondisi personal yang mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komitmen organisasi ditinjau dari masa kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah 90 karyawan Chevron Indonesia di Kota Balikpapan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala Komitmen Organisasi. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik Chi Square. Berdasarkan analisa penelitian ini diperoleh hasil adanya perbedaan antara komitmen organisasi jika ditinjau dari masa kerja karyawan dengan masa kerja antara 0 hingga 6 tahun memiliki komitmen organisasi lemah. Karyawan dengan masa kerja antara 7 hingga 15 tahun memiliki komitmen organisasi yang sedang, sedangkan karyawan yang memiliki masa kerja lebih dari 15 tahun memiliki komitmen organisasi yang kuat.

Organizational commitment become emphasis in company to decide worker constantly lay on organization or not. Period of work is represent condition of personal, which influencing organizational commitment. This research aimed to know difference of commitment and also to manage labor so that owning certainty of organizational commitment.This research represent quantitative research . Research conducted to 90 employees of Chevron Indonesia in town of Balikpapan. Techniques of intake of sample used are purposive sampling. Data collecting instrument that used is scale of organizational commitment. Techniques of data analysis that used are techniques of Chi Square.Pursuant to this research analysis is result obtained of existence of difference between organizational commitment if evaluated from period of work employees with period of work between 0 till 6 year have organizational commitment is weaken. Employees with period of work between 7 till 15 year have organizational commitment, which is moderate, employees owning period of work more than 15 year have organizational commitment is strength.
