ADVERSITY QUOTIENT DENGAN KECEMASAN MENGERJAKAN SKRIPSI PADA MAHASISWA

Abstract

Skripsi merupakan sebuah tugas mandiri, sebagai salah satu syarat kelulusan bagi seorang mahasiswa. Salah satu keterampilan yang harus dimiliki mahasiswa dalam proses penyelesaian skripsi, selain kemampuan untuk memahami teori, pemilihan metode penelitian yang tepat, mahasiswa juga dituntut memiliki kemampuan untuk menulis secara ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara adversity quotient dengan kecemasan mengerjakan skripsi pada mahasiswa Psikologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 82 mahasiswa Psikologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan skala adversity quotient dan skala kecemasan. Analisa data menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan ada hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan( r = - 0,605 ; sig = 0,000 < 0,010) antara adversity quotient dengan kecemasan mengerjakan skripsi pada mahasiswa, dimana semakin tinggi adversity quotient maka kecemasan semakin rendah.
