HARDINESS DENGAN PROBLEM FOCUSED COPING PADA WANITA KARIR

Wanita yang menjadi ibu, istri juga sekaligus menjadi pekerja, mempunyai beban dan peran yang berbeda-beda karena memiliki lingkungan (sumber stres) yang berbeda pula. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara hardiness dengan problem focused coping pada wanita karir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif non-experimental. Subjek dalam penelitian sejumlah 50 wanita karir yang telah menikah. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan dua skala yaitu skala hardiness dan skala problem focused coping. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil korelasi (r) sebesar 0,540, koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,292 atau sebesar 29,2% dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 dengan taraf signifikansi yang digunakan sebesar 0,01 (α < 0,01). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara hardiness dengan problem focused coping pada wanita karir.Kata kunci: Hardiness, problem focused coping, wanita karir
