IDENTIFIKASI MINAT SISWA RETARDASI MENTAL RINGAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE

Mengidentifikasi minat siswa retardasi mental ringan dapat mengetahui ketertarikan atau minat tertentu dan dapat dikembangkan untuk lebih dioptimalkan kemampuan tersebut. Penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif ini menggunakan skala multiple intelligence. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 8 subjek, yang memiliki minat kecerdasan visual-spasial sebanyak 3 siswa dengan prosentase (37,5%), minat pada kecerdasan linguistik sebanyak 2 siswa dengan prosentase (25%), minat pada kecerdasan matematika-logika 1 siswa dengan prosentase (12,5%), minat pada kecerdasan kinestetik-tubuh 1 siswa dengan prosentase (12,5%), minat pada kecerdasan musikal 1 siswa dengan prosentase (12,5%). Hasil penelitian menemukan keberagaman minat siswa retardasi mental ringan. Secara umum didominasi minat sebagai berikut, yaitu minat pada kecerdasan visual-spasial, minat pada kecerdasan linguistik, minat pada logika-matematika, minat pada kecerdasan kinestetik-tubuh, dan minat pada kecerdasan musikal.Kata kunci: Multiple intelligence, retardasi mental
