REGULASI MOOD NEGATIF PADA MAHASISWA DITINJAU DARI JENIS KELAMIN

Regulasi mood negatif adalah strategi yang dilakukan pada berbagai komponen modulasi perilaku, baik yang dilakukan secara internal maupun eksternal terhadap perasaan-perasaan yang kurang intens dan yang terjadi karena situasi dan kondisi yang sedang dialami. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan regulasi mood negatif pada mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Desain yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif non-eksperimen yaitu penelitian kausal komparatif dengan menggunakan skala NMR (Negatif Mood Regulation). Jumlah subjek 378 orang. Hasil penelitin menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan regulasi mood negatif pada mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Regualsi mood negatif pada mahasiswa laki-laki lebih baik dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa perempuan.Kata kunci: Regulasi mood, mood negatif
