RESILIENSI REMAJA YANG MEMILIKI ORANG TUA BERCERAI

Perceraian adalah cerai hidup atau perpisahan hidup antara pasangan suami istri sebagai akibat dari kegagalan mereka menjalankan perannya masing-masing. Masa remaja merupakan masa yang rentan terhadap goncangan yang penuh konflik dan perubahan suasana hati apalagi jika permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah mengenai perceraian orang tuanya. Resiliensi adalah kemampuan yang dimiliki seseorang untuk bertahan bahkan menjadi lebih kuat ketika menghadapi tekanan hidup yang sulit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat resiliensi remaja yang memiliki orang tua yang bercerai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan the 14-Item Resilience Scala (RS-14) yang disusun oleh Wagnild & Young (2009) dengan metode skala likert yang memiliki rentang indeks validitas 0,371-0,704 dengan tingkat reliabilitas cronbach’s alpha 0,878. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan didapatkan jumlah subjek sebanyak 72 orang remaja dengan rentang usia 14-22 tahun yang memiliki orang tua yang bercerai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum kemampuan resiliensi pada remaja yang memiliki orang tua bercerai adalah rata-rata bawah (30,56%).Kata kunci: Resiliensi, remaja, perceraian orang tua
Divorce is a separation event in living life between husband and wife as a result of their failure to carry out their respective roles as parent. Adolescence is a critical stage that is very vulnerable against jolts of conflict and mood changes, moreover if the problem is about his / her parent’s divorce. Resilience is an ability to overcome even become stronger in facing difficulties in life stressors. The purpose of this study was to determine resilience level of teens who have parents who are divorced . This resenarch uses descriptive quantitative method using the 14 - Item Resilience Scale (RS - 14) with a likert method that has validity index range 0,371-0,704 and has cronbach alpha reliability 0,878. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and found the number of subjects were 72 adolescents, aged 14-22 years who have divorced parents. The results showed that the ability of resilience in adolescents with divorced parents are in below average level (30.56 %).
