PRESTASI BELAJAR DITINJAU DARI GAYA PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN KARIR PADA MAHASISWA

Hasil yang maksimal dalam lingkup karir mahasiswa salah satunya dapat dilihat melalui prestasi belajar. Dalam hal pengambilan keputusan, masing-masing individu memiliki gaya pengambilan keputusan yang berbeda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji perbedaan prestasi belajar ditinjau dari gaya pengambilan keputusan karir. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 450 mahasiswa Psikologi di Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan skala gaya pengambilan keputusan. Dari hasil analisa data diperoleh hasil nilai Pearson Chi-Square sebesar 17,172a dengan nilai signifikansi 0,009. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya perbedaan prestasi belajar ditinjau dari gaya pengambilan keputusan karir pada mahasiswa. Hasil analisis juga menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa dengan kategori gaya pengambilan keputusan rasional memiliki prestasi belajar yang paling tinggi dibandingkan dengan gaya pengambilan keputusan intuitif dan dependen.

The ability of making career decision is urgently needed. One of the factual proofs of the previous statement is the students’ learning achievement. Regarding the mater every individual has distinguished styles in making career decision. The study aimed at examining the differences in students’ learning observed by their style in making career decision. This study was conducted to 450 students Psychology Department, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Further, the data were collected using the scale of decision-making style. The data analysis shoed the Pearson Chi-Square value of 17.172a with the significance value of 0,009. Accordingly, the study revealed the significant differences in students’ learning achievement observed by the styles in making career decision. In addition, it was also found that the students with the rational style in making career decision had the highest learning achievement among those with intuitive and dependent styles of making career decision.
