DUKUNGAN SOSIAL KELUARGA DENGAN TINGKAT KEPERCAYAAN DIRI ANAK YANG MENGALAMI TUNARUNGU

Dukungan sosial keluarga sangat dibutuhkan untuk membentuk kepercayaan diri pada anak yang mengalami tunarungu. Dengan adanya dukungan sosial keluarga anak merasa mendapat perhatian, mendapat kasih sayang, merasa dicintai sehingga anak merasa berharga, maka kepercayaan diri pada anak tunarungu akan tumbuh. Sedangkan anak tunarungu yang memiliki tingkat kepercayaan diri rendah, akan malu dalam bergaul. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial keluarga dengan tingkat kepercayaan diri anak yang mengalami tunarungu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik total sampling dan menggunakan 30 anak yang mengalami tunarungu sebagai subjek. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan dua skala yaitu skala kepercayaan diri dan skala dukungan sosial keluarga. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial keluarga dengan tingkat kepercayaann diri terhadap anak yang mengalami tunarungu setelah dianalisa menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah semakin tinggi dukungan sosial yang didapatkan, maka kepercayaan diri yang dimiliki semakin tinggi. ( r = 0,73 ; p = 0,00 ≤ 0,01 )

Family social support is needed to establish the confidence of children who have hearing impairment, whit the childs family social support was gained attention, got the love, feel loved so that children feel valved, than the confidence will grow in deaf children. While have children who have low sealf confidence, he would be ashement to associate. Purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of social support to the family confidence level of children who are deaf. This research is a quantitative study. Thesampling technique used is total sampling techniques and the use of 30 children who are deaf as a subject. This research instruments uses two scales, the scale of self-confidence and family social support scale. The results of this study indicate there is a significant positife relationship between social support families with a level of confidence to the children who have hearing impairment after analyzed using product moment correlation. Result obtained from this study is that the higher the social support obtained, then the confidence possessedhigher. ( r = 0,73 ; p = 0,00 ≤ 0,01 )
