Abstract

Karyawan yang bekerja di bidang industri mempunyai job description yang berbeda – beda. Perilaku yang mengarah pada organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) akan muncul tergantung dari insiatif masing – masing karyawan dalam membantu rekan kerjanya. Karyawan yang berperilaku OCB mempunyai dampak positif untuk keefektifan perusahaan dalam menghasilkan produksi yang berkualitas. Salah satu faktor yang dapat memunculkan perilaku OCB ialah faktor kepribadian.Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui perbedaan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) ditinjau pada karakteristik kepribadian. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala kepribadian dengan model skala Guttman dan Skala Organizational Citizenship Behavior dengan model skala Likert. Jumlah subjek dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 134 dengan status karyawan tetap. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan ada perbedaan Organizational Citizenship Behavior antara tipe kepribadian A dan B (t = 3.910; p = 0.000).

The employees who work in the industry has a different job description. The behavior of OCB will appear depending on the initiative of the employees to help his co-workers. Theemployees who behave OCB has a positive impact on the effectiveness of the company in the production of high quality produce.One of the factors that can bring OCB are personality factors. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in Organizational Citizenship Behavior reviewed the characteristics of personality.One of the factors that can influence the behavior of OCB are personality factors. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in Organizational Citizenship Behavior reviewed the characteristics of personality.This study used a non-test method is by using a scale model of personality with the Guttman scale and Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale with Likert scale models. The number of the subject of as much as 134 people with the status of permanent employees an age range of 25-50 years.The results of this study showed that there are differences in Organizational Citizenship Behavior, between personality types A and B is evidenced by test of the t-test that obtain (t=3.910 ; p=0.000).
