Perilaku Agresif Remaja di Tinjau dari Kepribadian (Big Five Personality)

Aksi- aksi yang biasa dilakukan di kalangan remaja adalah perkelahian, tawuran pelajar atau masal. Terdapat faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya aksi tersebut salah satunya adalah faktor internal. Faktor internal (dari dalam individu) sendiri seperti halnya ciri-ciri kepribadian turut berperan dalam perilaku agresif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Big Five Personality dimana kepribadian tersebut memiliki dimensi yang berdiri sendiri antar dimensinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan perilaku agresif ditinjau dari kepribadian (Big Five Personality). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif kausal komparatif dengan menggunakan skala Buss-Perry Aggression dan skala Big Five Inventory. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan melibatkan 155 siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik anova one way. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan perilaku agresif yang signifikan ditinjau dari Big Five Personality yang diketahui dengan membandingkan hasil uji anova (0,028) dengan taraf signifikansi (0,028< 0,05).

Brawls and fights are known as the act that most frequently happen among adolescent. One of factors that influence it is internal factors. Internal factors such as personality traits plays important role in aggressive behavior. The researcher used Big Five Personality approach in which the dimension of personality stands alone among its dimensions. Through this research, the researcher tried to figure out whether there are differences in aggressive behavior in terms of personality (Big Five Personality), and the purpose of this study was to determine the differences in aggressive behavior in terms of personality (Big Five Personality). This quantitative causal comparative study employed two scales; Buss-Perry Aggression and Big Five Inventory. This study used purposive sampling and involved 155 students. Anova one way analysis used to analyze the data of this study. The result showed that there were significant differences from Big Five Personality which was revealed by comparing the result of anova (0,028) with significance level (0,028< 0,05).
