ABSTRACT
With the increasingly shrinking reserves of fuel oil as an energy source, whereas energy needs increase, then the man demanded more creative in finding and developing environmentally friendly technology efficient in energy consumption. In the field of lighting (lighting), developing lighting technology since the invention of the incandescent lamp, TL, SL, and now LED (Light Emitting Diode). Economically, the price is still expensive LED lights, but LED bulbs have good prospects in the future, considering the LED lights have several advantages over other types, one of which is age more than 30,000 hours.“ Solar power plants (solar cells) attractive used considering solar energy is a renewable energy source that is clean and available in a number of very many in Indonesia, the price of solar cells began to decline, operation and easy installation.“The use of solar cells made of copper oxide (CuO) and zinc oxide (ZnO) with H2SO4 dielectric that has been found by researchers, will be used as a source of energy for lighting this LED.“ During this LED lighting system that uses electrical energy source PLTS not use control system voltage, current, short-circuit safety and cooling LED lights, so batrai easily damaged and LED short-lived due to excessive heat, to avoid some of these then made a series of system LED lighting controller types.“ After doing some research, obtained LED lamp lighting system with solar cells and their source backup batrai can work normally with time, voltage, current, power and charging process, with a series of independent light controller solar-powered LED lighting. Have been made and tested, and the ignition timing control system outages appropriate natural lighting, system voltage between 2 volts and 7 volts to batrai, the current system is between 0.5 Amp and 10 Amp to batrai, cut-off interference and LED cooling.

ABSTRAK
Dengan semakin menyusutnya jumlah cadangan bahan bakar minyak sebagai sumber energi, sedangkan kebutuhan energi semakin meningkat, maka manusia dituntut lebih kreatif dalam menemukan dan mengembangkan teknologi ramah lingkungan yang efisien dalam konsumsi energi. Di bidang penerangan (lighting), teknologi lampu berkembang sejak ditemukannya lampu pijar, TL, SL dan kini lampu LED (Light Emitting Diode). Secara ekonomis harga lampu LED masih mahal, tetapi lampu LED mempunyai prospek yang baik di masa depan, mengingat LED mempunyai beberapa kelebihan dibanding lampu jenis lain, salah satunya adalah usia lebih dari 30.000 jam. Pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (sel surya) menarik digunakan mengingat energi surya adalah sumber energi terbarukan yang bersih dan tersedia dalam jumlah sangat banyak di Indonesia, harga sel surya mulai menurun, pengoperasian dan instalasinya mudah dilakukan. Penggunaan sel surya berbahan tembaga oksida (CuO) dan seng oksida (ZnO) dengan dielektrikum H2SO4 yang telah ditemukan oleh peneliti, akan digunakan sebagai sumber energi bagi lampu penerangan LED ini. Selama ini sistem penerangan LED yang menggunakan sumber energi listrik PLTS belum menggunakan sistem kontrol tegangan, arus, pengaman hubung singkat dan pendingin lampu LED, sehingga batrai cepat rusak dan lampu LED berumur pendek karena panas yang berlebihan, untuk menghindari beberapa hal tersebut maka dibuatlah rangkaian sistem pengendali lampu penerangan jenis LED. Setelah dilakukan beberapa penelitian, didapatkan sistem penerangan lampu LED dengan sumber sel surya beserta batrai cadangan dapat bekerja dengan normal sesuai waktu, tegangan, arus, daya dan proses pengisian, dengan rangkaian pengendali lampu penerangan LED independent bertenaga surya. Telah dibuat dan diuji, sistem kendali waktu penyalaan dan pemadaman sesuai pencahayaan alam, tegangan sistem antara 2 Volt dan 7 Volt ke batrai, arus sistem antara 0,5 Amp dan 10 Amp ke batrai, cut-off gangguan dan pendingin LED.
