Respon Sekolah Muhammadiyah terhadap Penerapan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah [MBS]

Abstract

This research deals with the response of Muhammadiyah schools on School Based Management implementation.

The research helded to four Muhammadiyah schools those are located in complex of Muhammadiyah institution Tlogomas Malang. The data was collected by using observation and dept interview, and was analyzed by using descriptive qualitative method.

The research shows that Muhammadiyah schools those are located in complex of Muhammadiyah institution Tlogomas Malang have varieties response on School Based Management implementation. The varieties response caused by internal condition of schools such as human resources, facilities, financial resources, etc. in answer the new changes. 

The main problems of Muhammadiyah schools in answer the implementation of School Based Management are based on understanding of School Based Management concept, human resources, and the weakness of community attention with the improvement of school quality.

Each school has its solution to overcome the problems that was suitable with its condition.
