ABSTRACT

Limit function is a section of students who have mastered the Differential Calculus course. In addition to understanding the concept of limit, students are expected to apply these concepts to the application questions. In the book dictates the use of students in learning there are many problems to be solved and the solution sought. Not a few questions that presented a difficult problem which the students are often skeptical about the truth or falsehood of a response. With changing times the emergence of Maple applications that can assist in resolving problems limit function. There are two issues that will be the formulation of the research focus of which is How the learning of calculus with the help of Maple on UMM math education student? How the response to learning calculus with the help of Maple on UMM math education student?
This type of study is a descriptive with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Based on the results obtained from student response data can be summed up as much as 76% strongly agree with the Maple learning, while 16% of the answers agree with learning Maple, representing 4% of the answers that learning is not approved, and 4% said that learning is strongly not approved.
