Barriers women entrepreneurs were divided into two, namely 1) the personal characteristicscaused by the workload due to the dual role of a woman, and 2) structural characteristics, namely
barriers to access to capital (and collateral requirements) and access to marketing where women
have access to marketing information low.
This study intends to replicate and test the results of previous research on entrepreneurial
motivation of women in social and cultural settings, Malang.
Together the variables of achievement, affiliation, autonomy, and dominance proved to be a
factor that together in one model as an explanatory level of women’s intention to choose a career as
an entrepreneur in the city of Malang.
