<p>This research aims to analyze the financing distribution for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Mandiri Sharia Bank representative in Malang and further analyzing the debtor perception (SMEs) on the distribution of credit by Mandiri Sharia Bank representative in Malang. This research utilizing primary and secondary data. The data collection was conducted through questioner, interview, participative observation and literature review. Sample used in this research is 10 consumer of Mudharabah financing. Data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis and scale analysis. The result shows that the distribution of credit to SMEs in Mandiri Sharia Bank representative in Malang is in accordance with the characteristics of Mudharabah financing asserted by National Sharia Board No. 07/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 regarding the requirement for financing, term and condition, and also Law on Mudharabah Financing. The perception of Mudharib regarding the credit provided by Mandiri Sharia Bank representative in Malang is excellent, undemanding and not time consuming.</p><p>Keyword : Mudharabah Financing, SMEs, Mandiri Sharia Bank representative in Malang</p>Sri Budi Cantika Yuli

<p align="left"> </p><p><em><span style="font-size: small;">In this current year, Islamic commercial banking industries have grown rapidly. They are involved in a tight competition. The competition is not only happened between Islamic commercial banking companies but also with conventional banking companies. The reasons of customers to do a transaction with Islamic commercial banking companies are needed to be understood by either practitioners or scholars. <p>The research aim is to investigate the variables which affect consumer’s behavior in terms of doing transactions in Islamic commercial banking companies in Malang. Theory of planned behavior is used in this research as a basic frame work for analyzing those variables.</p><p>The population of this research is all of Islamic commercial banking companies which are located in Malang. Sample is collected by using probability sampling method. In terms of answering the research question, multiple regressions are used. F-test and t-test are used in order to test the hypotheses.</p><p>The result of this research shows that the three independent variables (attitude towards behaviour, subjective norms, and perceived control behaviour) has a significant influence either as partial or simultaneous goes together with the variable of the consumer’s behavior in terms of doing transactions in Islamic commercial banking companies in Malang. <p align="left"> </p><p><span style="font-size: small;">This research aims to evaluate the performance of Sharia Banking industry from the aspects of : asset control, third party fund accumulation (DPK), and the ability of bank to distribute funds. Aside from that , the bank performance will be analyzed from financial ratio indicator referring to bank health assessement by Indonesian Central Bank using CAMEL. Sharia bank performance is emphasized more on it position in the National Banking Industry. <p>Data gathered based on publication of Indonesion Central Bank statistics, while the sample is required only for examining the financial ratio based performance, comprising from the period of 2001-2005.</p><p>The result of the research show that sharia banking has good performance indicating from the highest asset growth, third party fund accumulation (DPK), and also positively consistent funding and the increased tendency in market segment and position in the National Banking Industry, even if is relatively low (less than 2%). T test analysis with significant level of 5% show that sharia bank has leveled with National Banking Industry from the aspect of capital ratio, while asset quality perceived from non performing financing is higher than the National Banking Industry. From efficiency perspectives, Sharia Banking only has better performance than BUSN non Reserve, but is left behind compare to BPD.</p><p>The ability in achieving profitability for Sharia Banking is leveled with Bank Persero, BUSN Reserve or even National Banking Industry. Compare to BUSN non Reserve, Sharia bank is significantly better in performance, however it is lagging compare to two other bank group , which are : Mixed Bank and Foreign Bank . The examination on liquidity reveals that banks in the industry are just over –liquid, while sharia bank reside under the minimum liquidity requirement, it is imposing that sharia bank has better FDR(Financing to Deposit compare to the other groups of bank in the National Banking Industry without having to sacrifice their asset quality.
