Pike’s tagmemic theory, which consists of four elements. This study was qualitative-descriptive. Data was collected by reading and noting techniques from short story texts based on Kenneth L. Pike’s four tagmemic elements. The result of the study showed that based on Kenneth L. Pike’s four tagmemic elements, active transitive verbs were expressed by using four structures: (1) transitive verb phrase, noun phrase 1, and noun phrase 2; (2) transitive verb phrase, noun phrase 1, noun phrase 2, and adjunct (prepositional phrase); (3) transitive verb phrase, noun phrase 1, and noun phrase 2; (4) transitive verb phrases (noun phrase 1), adjunct (prepositional phrase), and noun phrase 2. The passive monotransitive verbs founded on one structure were expressed by using transitive verb phrases, noun phrases 1, and noun phrases 2. The result of this study shows that in many cases of transitive phrases, both active and passive monotransitive forms might stimulate the notion of different meanings by using their own syntactic structures.
abdul basid, Al Lastu Nurul Fatim, Jumriyah Jumriyah, Masrokhin Masrokhin Copyright (c) 2024 abdul - basid, Al Lastu Nurul Fatim, Jumriyah Jumriyah, Masrokhin Masrokhin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/izdihar/article/view/25627 Thu, 04 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0700 The Analysis of Experiential Learning Method of Dale's Cone Experience Model in Improving the Effectiveness of Arabic Language Learning https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/izdihar/article/view/30823
This study purposed to analyze the effectiveness of the Arabic language learning model based on Edgar Dale's cone of experience theory. The method used library research by taking books, journals, and documents. The result of this research is that Arabic language learning with an experiential learning model, according to Edgar Dale's cone of experience, is effective learning and can help to develop Arabic language learning that is focused and empowers students to master it. Learning Arabic through this model is also very effective for teaching Arabic as a means of communication. Experiential learning and Edgar Dale's cone of experience theory have a strong fit in the context of Arabic language learning. Dale's cone of experience theory illustrates different levels of student participation and involvement in learning, ranging from concrete experience to abstract conceptualization. According to Dale, direct and interactive experiences promote more effective learning, which is consistent with the experiential learning approach. In experiential Arabic learning, students engage in direct experience by speaking, listening, reading and writing in Arabic, which is the first step in the cone of experience.
Cecep Sobar Rochmat, Amalia Nur Afasa Amalia, Abdul Hafidz bin Zaid, Moh Alwi Yusron, Sania Karimah Liputo Copyright (c) 2024 Cecep Sobar Rochmat, Amalia Nur Afasa Amalia, Abdul Hafidz bin Zaid, Moh Alwi Yusron, Sania Karimah Liputo https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/izdihar/article/view/30823 Tue, 30 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Post Solution Posing Based on Qiraah Learning Model for Developing Critical Thinking Process https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/izdihar/article/view/28835
This research aimed to provide solutions to Qiraah teachers, in order to train and develop students' thinking abilities through a post-solution position-based learning model. The development of the learning model is based on the Qiraah learning constraints and problems faced by lecturers and students, which are obtained from needs analysis. The post-solution posing model applies six phases in learning activities, namely establishing set, comprehension, social interaction, explain, feedback, and extended practice. This research used research and development method. Data are collected through questionnaire, interview, document, and test conducted in the Arabic Language Education Study Program involving 45 students. The effectiveness of the six phases of the post-solution posing model which has been tested on learning through Qiraah using the one-group pretest-posttest technique, produces a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This shows a significant increase in scores, so that the post-solution position learning model in the Qiraah course is considered effective for training the development of thinking skills in students.
Puti Zulharby, Fatwa Arifah, Ahmad Marzuq, Mohamad Sarip, Waldi Awali Syah Copyright (c) 2024 Puti Zulharby, Fatwa Arifah, Ahmad Marzuq, Mohamad Sarip, Waldi Awali Syah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/izdihar/article/view/28835 Tue, 30 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Analyzing The Potential Utilization of Discord Application As A Digital Arabic Linguistic Environment https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/izdihar/article/view/28348
The purpose of this study was to present a new concept in viewing the Discord application by comparing the concept of the language environment with the use of Discord as a language learning medium.
