The study aims to study how economic growth, exports, and interest rates impacted inflation rates during the period 1993-2022. Interest rates, exports, and economic growth are used as free variables, and inflation is used as bound variables. In this study, the analysis method is a double linear regression analysis. The results show that export value has a significant positive influence on inflation, while interest rates and economic growth have a significant negative influence upon inflation. Reducing aggregate economic demand, which can suppress inflationary pressures, is a way to control interest rates. To suppress inflation during economic growth, tax policies can be used to reduce public spending or raise taxes.
Farah Isnani Muntaza, Dwi Susilowati Copyright (c) 2024 Farah Isnani Muntaza, Dwi Susilowati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/jofei/article/view/32843 Fri, 31 May 2024 00:00:00 +0700 PENGARUH EKONOMI EKSTERNAL DAN INTERNAL TERHADAP TABUNGAN DI NEGARA-NEGARA MAJU DI EROPA https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/jofei/article/view/32846
Savings are very important because they can provide financial security by setting aside a portion of income, so that you have reserve funds for urgent or future needs, and can overcome unexpected financial situations and provide long-term financial freedom. There are two factors influence savings, namely internal factors include economic growth and general government debt, while external factors include fuel imports and foreign direct investment. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of the external and internal economy on savings in developed countries with the highest economic growth rates in Europe. The data analysis technique used is panel regression. The research results show that economic growth has a positive effect on savings, while imports of steel materials and direct investment have a negative effect on savings. Only the general government debt variable has a negative and insignificant effect on savings in developed European countries, including Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland.
Agatha Ellesonia Wulandari Copyright (c) 2024 Agatha Ellesonia Wulandari https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/jofei/article/view/32846 Fri, 31 May 2024 00:00:00 +0700 ANALISIS PENDAPATAN ASLI DAERAH DAN DANA ALOKASI UMUM TERHADAP BELANJA MODAL MELALUI PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/jofei/article/view/32854
This research aims to analyze the influence of Regional Original Income and General Allocation Funds on Capital Expenditures through Economic Growth as a moderating variable in Regencies/Cities in East Java Province in 2013-2022. The type of research used in this research is quantitative and the data used is secondary data. The data used was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). This research uses panel data regression techniques with moderating variables (Moderating Regression Analysis) using the Eviesw program. The results of this research show that Regional Original Income has a negative and significant impact on capital expenditure and the General Allocation Fund has a positive and significant impact on capital expenditure. And Economic Growth was not able to moderate Regional Original Income towards Capital Expenditures with negative and insignificant results but Economic Growth was able to moderate the General Allocation Fund towards Capital Expenditures in East Java Province with positive and significant results.
Tutut Solikah, Wahyu Hidayat Riyanto, Novi Primita Sari Copyright (c) 2024 Tutut Solikah, Wahyu Hidayat Riyanto, Novi Primita Sari https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/jofei/article/view/32854 Fri, 31 May 2024 00:00:00 +0700 PENGARUH VARIABEL MAKROEKONOMI TERHADAP INDEKS HARGA SAHAM PADA JAKARTA ISLAMIC INDEX 70 https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/jofei/article/view/32764
Macroeconomic variables such as inflation, exchange rates, money supply and Gross Domestic Product continue to fluctuate in each period, so they are indicated to have an influence on activities that occur in the Indonesian capital market. This research aims to analyze the influence of inflation, exchange rate, money supply and Gross Domestic Product on the Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JJI70)' stock price index. The data used in this research is quarterly secondary data from 2018 to 2022. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that inflation, the exchange rate and the money supply have a significant effect on the JJI70 stock price index, while the Gross Domestic Product variable does not have a significant effect on the JJI70 stock price index.
Asep Kholidul Mufid, Norma Rosyidah Copyright (c) 2024 Asep Kholidul Mufid, Norma Rosyidah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/jofei/article/view/32764 Fri, 31 May 2024 00:00:00 +0700 ANALISIS PROFITABILITAS PERBANKAN SYARIAH DI NEGARA OKI https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/jofei/article/view/32848
The development of the economic system can be seen from the movement of the financial system which has a global impact. Therefore, the role of banking is very important for economies around the world. The aim of this research is to assess the financial performance of Islamic banks in OIC member countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia) through profitability. The measure of profitability is to use the ROA ratio. The data was processed using panel data regression testing. The results of data analysis show that CAR and sukuk have a significant positive effect on profitability, while BOPO has a significant negative effect on the profitability of sharia banks in OIC member countries during the 2018 - 2022 period. Only the inflation variable has not significantly influenced the profitability of sharia banks in OIC member countries during the period. 2018 – 2022. The implication of this research is that Islamic banks must strive to increase the CAR ratio and reduce the BOPO ratio because it can significantly affect the level of bank profitability. Apart from that, Islamic banks also continue to increase sukuk issuance because it can encourage increased profits.
Zalfa Elvina Dewi Hanifah, Idah Zuhroh Copyright (c) 2024 Zalfa Elvina Dewi Hanifah, Idah Zuhroh https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/jofei/article/view/32848 Fri, 31 May 2024 00:00:00 +0700
