https://ejournal.umm.ac.id/index.php/jp2sd/article/view/31740

Globalization has become one of the causes of the moral crisis among elementary school students because the information that can be accessed digitally is increasingly widespread. Therefore, it is essential to strengthen the character of elementary school students so that they do not fall into negative things. One effort that can be made is character education based on Pancasila. Through character education, students are expected to become Pancasila students, which are the students who can apply Pancasila values in their daily lives. Therefore, this research aims to determine the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) and its influence on student character. This research uses the Bibliometric analysis method and the SPAR-4-SLR procedure. They are using the Publish or Perish database and Google Scholar. Based on the 20 selected articles regarding P5, its successful implementation can develop students' positive character, such as increasing cooperation and responsibility. The obstacles experienced are inadequate facilities and infrastructure, teacher direction, and lack of funding. Efforts that can be made include providing facilities and infrastructure and cooperation between school principals, teachers, and parents. An effective strategy for implementing P5 is to optimize the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The benefits of implementing P5 include that character development activities focus more on determining dimensions and assessment rubrics. Recommendations are directed to future researchers to conduct research related to the implementation of P5 in connection with other elements, such as house training for teachers to understand the concept of P5.
Silvia SeptianyMela DarmayantiAni Hendriani

The decline in reading interest hinders the quality of student learning, reducing reading literacy skills. In education, reading is a mandatory activity for students. The presence of a school library can help improve students' reading literacy and support the teaching and learning process. A library serves not only as an information source but also as a learning facility that supports the achievement of educational goals. To meet these goals, school libraries must be developed in terms of management, collection, and facilities to enhance students' reading literacy. This research aims to explore the importance of libraries in improving the reading literacy of fourth-grade elementary school students and to assess the library's contribution to enhancing their reading literacy. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method, using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques, involving the principal, one second-grade teacher, the fourth-grade homeroom teacher, and five fourth-grade students. The findings indicate that the school library contributes effectively by improving reading literacy and supporting the teaching and learning process, thus enhancing student learning outcomes. A well-equipped school library, with easy access, engaging literacy activities, proactive librarian roles, and stakeholder collaboration, can significantly improve students' reading literacy. Students involved in various literacy activities tend to have a high interest in reading, leading to improved reading skills and comprehension.
The demands of the National Standards for Higher Education require undergraduate graduates to be able to think at a high level. In addition, the demands of the disruption era want technology-based education and learning. The COVID-19 pandemic has become a momentum to integrate the two because learning is forced to be done at home with online learning. The results of the preliminary study show that students in online learning are not able to proactively compile their knowledge and lecturers need curriculum tools that refer to high-level thinking according to government demands. Based on the two demands and the results of the preliminary study, a solution is needed. One of the preferred solutions is curriculum development through MOOC-Science development research efforts to improve the high-level thinking skills of prospective elementary school teachers. This research aims to develop MOOC-Science that has valid multimedia content that can improve high-level thinking skills and analyze the effectiveness of MOOC-Science on higher-level thinking skills. This development research uses a 4D model research design consisting of 1) definition; 2) planning; 3) development; and 4) the spread. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and statistical analysis. The results of the study concluded that 1) multimedia MOOC-Science is very well validated; 2) the high-level thinking skills instrument is very well validated; and 3) MOOC-Science has proven to be very effective in improving the higher-level thinking skills of prospective elementary school teachers.
