Penatalaksanaan Fisioterapi Conginetal Muscular Torticollis Sinistra: Studi Kasus

Congenital Muscular Torticollis adalah kelainan postur muskuloskeletal yang muncul saat lahir atau segera setelahnya akibat adanya pemendekan otot dan peningkatan tonus otot Sternocleidomastoideus unilateral dengan manifestasi posisi kepala ipsilateral dengan rotasi ke sisi kontralateral. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan studi kasus yang disertai interview pada orang tua/wali anak dan observasi secara langsung di Klinik Fisioterapi Diena Prambanan. Instrumen evaluasi yang digunakan adalah hipertrofi dan stiffness otot serta keterbatasan Lingkup Gerak Sendi leher menggunakan Muscle Function Test (MFS). Problematika fisioterapi yang ditemukan dlakukan intervensi fisioterapi dengan modalitas IRR, massage dan mobilisasi, serta terapi latihan dengan passive stretching. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan masih adanya keterbatasan LGS, stiffness mulai berkurang pada m. upper trapezius, m. scaleni, dan m. rhomboid serta berkurangnya hipertrofi pada m. SCM sinistra anak. Pemberian modalitas IRR yang dikombinasikan dengan manual terapi dan terapi Latihan memberikan hasil yang bermakna dalam meningkatkan LGS dan Muscle Function pada CMT.
