Kombinasi Muscle Extension Strength Exercise dengan Kinesiotapping Terhadap Penurunan Nyeri dan Meningkatkan ROM serta Aktifitas Fungsional Lumbal Pada Pasien Hernia Nucleus Pulposus

Hernia nucleus pulposus adalah suatu kondisi yang dimana terjadi penonjolan pada annulus fibrosus ke dalam lumen kanalis vertebralis sehingga nucleus pulposus robek karena cakram intervertebralis degeneratif. Kombinasi muscle extension strength exercise dengan kinesiotapping adalah metode lama yang dikembangkan untuk pemberian treatment kemudian diaplikasikan pada pasien hernia nucleus pulposus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas kombinasi muscle extension strength exercise dengan kinesiotapping dalam menurunkan nyeri, meningkatkan ROM serta aktifitas fungsional lumbal pada hernia nucleus pulposus di Laboratorium Program Studi S-1 Fisioterapi STIKES Telogorejo Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien lansia di Kelurahan Karangayu, Kota Semarang sebanyak 40 orang terbagi dalam 2 kelompok, dimana kelompok kontrol (n=20) mendapatkan intervensi kinesiotapping sedangkan kelompok perlakuan (n=20) mendapatkan intervensi kombinasi muscle extension strength exercise dengan kinesiotapping. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 3 bulan yang berjumlah sebanyak 10 kali treatment. Hasil persentase menunjukkan pada kelompok perlakuan sebesar 12,05% dan pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 4,28%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dan efektivitas kombinasi muscle extension strength exercise dengan kinesiotapping terhadap penurunan nyeri kemudian peningkatan ROM serta aktifitas fungsional lumbal pada pasien hernia nucleus pulposus.
