Program Fisioterapi pada Lansia dengan Keluhan Ischialgia: Case Report Study

Ischialgia yaitu suatu kondisi yang disebabkan karena adanya penekanan pada saraf ischiadicus yang disebabkan karena herniasi diskus atau karena adanya tonjolan tulang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas dari pemberian Infrared, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), Nerve Mobilization, Pelvic Tilting dan Stretching pada kasus Ischialgia. Dengan masing-masing dosis yaitu infrared dengan dosis seminggu dua kali, intensitas 45 cm (toleransi pasien dan durasi 10 menit). Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) diberikan seminggu dua kali, intensitas 28 mA, frekuensi 150-200 mhz dengan durasi 10 menit tipe konvensional. Nerve mobilization diberikan seminggu 2x dengan 10x hitungan dan 2set. Pelvic tilting dan stretching diberikan seminggu 2x dengan 8x hitungan 3 set. Pengukuran yang digunakan yaitu pengukuran nyeri dengan Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), pengukuran Range of Motion (ROM) menggunakan goniometer, dan pengukuran kemampuan fungsional menggunakan Oswestry Disability Index (ODI). Penelitian dilakukan secara langsung kepada seorang pasien dengan kondisi Ischialgia dengan program fisioterapi sebanyak tiga kali, didapatkan hasil bahwa nilai nyeri berkurang, peningkatan ROM dan peningkatan kemampuan fungsional. Pemberian intervensi fisioterapi berupa Infrared, TENS, Nerve Mobilization, Pelvic Tilting dan Stretching. Mampu memberikan hasil nyata terhadap penurunan nyeri, peningkatan ROM dan peningkatan kemampuan fungsional.
