Breathing Exercise dapat Mengurangi Nyeri Dada Pada Pasien Pneumonia di Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Lamongan : Case Report

Pneumonia atau peradangan paru - paru merupakan gangguan pada saluran pernafasan yang dapat mengancam jiwa seseorang. Bakteri, virus dan jamur menjadi penyebab utama pada pneumonia. Berdasarkan patologi anatomi dan penyebabnya, pasien pneumonia akan mengalami gangguan pada sistem pernafasan dengan gejala yang biasanya dirasakan seperti demam, menggigil, berkeringat, batuk, dan menghasilkan sputum berlendir (purulen atau bercak darah). Dengan adanya nyeri dada merupakan problematika fisioterapi yang dapat kita berikan intervensi berupa breathing exercise. Studi ini bertujuan untuk membantu penurunan derajat nyeri dada pada pasien pneumonia dengan breathing exercise. Dalam kasus pneumonia fisioterapi menggunakan intervensi chest fisioterapi berupa breathing exercise. Studi yang dilakukan saat ini menggunakan desain studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di RS Muhammadiyah Lamongan. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan adanya penurunan derajat nyeri dada dari pemeriksaan VAS dengan nilai nyeri diam dari T0 = 2 menjadi T4 = 0, nyeri tekan dari T0 = 3 menjadi T4 = 0 dan nyeri gerak dari T0 = 4 menjadi T4 = 1. Pemberian fisioterapi dada berupa Breathing Exercise (BE) selama 4 kali terapi dapat menghasilkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penurunan derajat nyeri dada pada penderita pneumonia.
