Rational emotive behaviour therapy untuk menangani gangguan depresi
Abstract
Pada kasus kekerasan dalam rumah tangga ditemukan bahwa 9 dari 10 perempuan mengalami depresi. Tujuan dari terapi ini dengan menggunakan metode Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) adalah menurunkan tingkat depresi dengan melakukan restrukturisasi kognitif, afeksi dan perilaku. Berdasarkan assessment, diketahui bahwa ukur subyek mengalami depresi. Pada metode REBT dilakukan restruskturisasi kognitif dengan mengubah keyakinan irasional menjadi rasional sehingga berpengaruh pada perubahan afeksi dan perilaku baru. Berdasarkan instrumen penelitian dengan tes BDI diketahui skor hasil pre-test =38 (depresi berat), post test=15(depresi ringan) dan follow up =13 (depresi ringan) sehingga dinyatakan subyek mengalami penurunan tingkat depresi dengan terapi sebanyak 14 sesi. Pengukuran perubahan gejala depresi pada beberapa sesi terapi menggunakan selfreport.Kata kunci: REBT, depresi
