Pengembangan self-control untuk mengurangi reaksi echolalia pada remaja latah
Abstract
Latah ditemukan pada masyarakat Indonesia. Mereka mengalami kehilangan kontrol atas tindakan yang dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian adalah pengembangan self-control untuk meningkatkan kontrol diri subjek yang latah dan mengurangi reaksi echolalia pada remaja latah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode action riset dengan subjek berjumlah 2 orang, yang mengalami latah echolalia. Treatment self-control diberikan kepada subjek, selama 6 sesi dengan durasi waktu 90 menit per sesi. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui skala self-control, observasi dan menghitung jumlah suku kata yang diucapkan ketika latah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kontrol diri dan perubahan perilaku yaitu berkurangnya reaksi echolalia pada subjek.Kata kunci: Latah, reaksi echolalia, self-control
