Token Ekonomi: Metode untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan minum obat pada skizofrenia

The purpose of this study aims to see whether non-adherent behavior in taking medication can be helped by Token Economy. Assessment is carried out using Interviews, Observations, Graphics, Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS), WWQ and MMSE. The subject of this study was a 55-year-old client who did not adhere to the medication prescribed by the doctor, and the client became angry when he was reminded to take the medication. The subject was a Lawang Hospital patient diagnosed with schizoaffective bipolar type. The intervention given was behavior modification, namely token economy for 6 sessions. The results of the study show that clients are able to comply with the intervention regulations and take the medication on time with the given token economic intervention.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah perilaku ketidakpatuhan dalam minum obat dapat terbantu dengan adanya Token Economy. Penilaian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Wawancara, Observasi, Grafik, Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS), WWQ dan MMSE. Subyek penelitian ini adalah klien berusia 55 tahun yang tidak mematuhi pengobatan yang diresepkan oleh dokter, dan klien menjadi marah ketika diingatkan untuk meminum obat tersebut. Subjek penelitian adalah pasien RSUD Lawang yang didiagnosis menderita skizoafektif tipe bipolar. Intervensi yang diberikan adalah modifikasi perilaku yaitu token economy selama 6 sesi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa klien mampu mematuhi peraturan intervensi dan meminum obat tepat waktu dengan token intervensi ekonomi yang diberikan.
