Malaria serebral (MS) merupakan injeksi parasit yang disebabkan malaria pada otak. MS salah satu bentuk malaria malignan dengan mortalitas tinggi. Plasmodium falciparum sebagai penyebab utama. Penyakit ini ditandai dengan kesadaran menurun, gejala dan tanda
neurologis lain, dan gejala malaria tropika pada umumnya. Penanganan penyakit ini konservatif yang meliputi terapi spesiik, suportif dan perawatan umum.
Kata kunci : malaria serebral, gejala & tanda neurologis, terapi konservatif.
