Abstract
This article is a critical study of national examination imposed nationally by government. The theory used to study the national examination is Gramscis hegemony theory. Based on this theory, the national examination is hegemonic policy of government as the national examination is a form of government sintervention in education. This is different from developed countries that give autonomyfor the teacher to conduct the test.Downloads
