Penerapan Program Kependudukan, Keluarga Berencana dan Pembangunan Keluarga melalui Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik Tahun 2018 di Yogyakarta

ABSTRAK Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) tematik merupakan inovasi untuk kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dari universitas. Program KKN tematik dengan tema Kependudukan, Keluarga Berencana dan Pembangunan Keluarga (KKBPK) dalam penelitian ini merupakan bentuk kerjasama antara Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) dengan Perwakilan Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY). Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menjawab bagaimana pengelolaan dan implementasi KKN tematik KKBPK tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Kulon Progo pada tahun 2018. Pemilihan sampel informan menggunakan purposive sampling kepada narasumber terpilih dan kelompok KKN tematik Program KKBPK UAD Tahun 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KKN tematik KKBPK mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat. KKN dengan beragam program KKBPK berhasil menggerakan swadaya masyarakat, meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang KKBPK dan menjalin kerjasama lintas sektor. Peneliti merekomendasikan ada penelitian lanjutan untuk melihat keberlanjutan program yang telah dirintis KKN tematik KKBPK.
