Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

MANUSCRIPT FORMAT
The manuscript should be uploaded to the OJS system and arranged in IJOTA standard format, Title, Authors, Address and Email, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Result and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment, and References. Typed at Microsoft Word in the white paper of A4 size, in single column, a spaceline,12 point Times New Roman font and should be given line numbers. Margins on all four sides are 3 cm. Maximum pages of manuscript no more than 18 pages.


MANUSCRIPT TITLE
Title, consist of no more than 20 words. It should be written clear and concisely in describing the contents of the research.


AUTHORS
The manuscript has the main author and co-authors with the full name of the author and coauthors (no abbreviation), includes email addresses clearly.


ABSTRACT
Give a brief introduction of the research. Identify scientific names of plants,
other organisms, and chemicals. Abstract should not bemore than 250 characters which has no reference and accompanied keywords. Abstract mustbe integrated and independent whichconsist of introduction, purpose, methods, results, conclusion and suggestion.


KEYWORDS
Thekey words and phrases following the Abstract shouldbe alphabetically arranged and should reflect the contents of the paper. Manuscript should have keywords 3-5 words or phrases.


INTRODUCTION
Presents brief and clear information concerning background, aim and purpose of the research.


MATERIALS AND METHODS
It should mention time and place of the research. All materials and methods that used such aschemical for analysis, treatment and experimental design mustbe explained briefly butclear.


RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Result and discussion must be written in the same part. They shouldbe presented continuously start from the main result to the supporting results and equipped with a discussion. Unit of measurement used should follow the prevailing international system. All figures and tables in manuscript should be original, active and able tobe edited byeditor.


CONCLUSION
Conclusion shouldbe explained clearly based on the results of the research described in the manuscript.


ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Mention the grant source or/and the person to whomthe grant was given. Name the person to help your research or compile the manuscript.


REFERENCES
The author-year notation system is required and completed. All reference
mentioned should be writtendown in reference using American Psychological Association (APA) style. Themost of references are primary ones (last five years). Unpublished data and personal communication should notbe cited as literature citations, but given in the text in parentheses. “In Press” articles that havebeen accepted for publication maybe cited in references. Include in the citation the journal in which the “in press” article will appear and the publication date, if a date is available. The Author must use a reference manager, such as Mendeley, Zotero, or Endnote. Thismanusrcipt without using a reference manager will not beaccepeted until revised with reference manager.
