Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format not PDF.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

The Guide for Scientific Writing

JINoP (Jurnal Inovasi Pembelajaran)

 

  1. The article should be based on the result of the learning researches on all the disciplines and education levels. The script is typed by using Microsoft Word program with the following format: Times New Roman with 12-point typeface, single-spaced, on A4 page size, and covering 10-15 pages. The script is submitted in form of an exemplar of print-out along with the softcopy to jinopfkip@gmail.com and jinopfkip@umm.ac.id
  2. The author’s name without a title, the name of the institution, and e-mail are placed under the title of the article. For the team-authored article, the editor only related to the main author or the one whose name was listed in the first order.
  3. The article is composed in formal Bahasa Indonesia or English in accordance with the terms and guidelines of scientific writing. The title is typed in capitals with a 14-point typeface and center-positioned. The sub-title is typed in bold. The Indonesian title should not be more than 14 words, while the English title should not be more than 12 words. The article covers title, name of the author(s), the name of the institution, e-mail; abstract (both in Bahasa Indonesia and English, not more than 200 words) covering objectives, methodology, findings and discussion, and main conclusion); keywords (3-5 words); introduction (covering research background, research context, review of the related literature, and research objectives in form of paragraphs with the percentage of 15-20% of the whole article.); method (explaining the research design, data source, data collection technique, and data analysis in form of paragraphs with the percentage of 10-15% of the whole article); findings and discussion (the ‘findings‘ covers the description of the analysis result related to the statement of problems, while ‘discussion’ contains result interpretation and comparison to theories and/or the similar research findings, with the percentage of 40-60% of the whole article. The ‘findings’ may be supported by tables, graphics, and/or charts. The follow-up possibilities of the activity may also be presented); conclusion (covering the research findings in form of answers for the statement problems or the summary of discussion, provided in form of a paragraph. Suggestions can also be conveyed); and references (covering only the cited writings in the script and is presented in alphabetical and chronological order).
  4. A personal phone number is required.
  5. The references are better from up-to-date primary sources such as a scientific journal or magazines articles, thesis, and dissertations.
  6. The citation should use parenthetical citation technique including year, author, and the page number, for example: (Miller, 2011: 100)
