Abstract:
The research approach was descriptive qualitative with content or document analysis. This research objective was to analyze teacher’s working load at Public Senior High School in Tarakan. The result showed that entirely in Tarakan there were still 30.19% teachers who had not fulfilled teaching load minimum 24 hours meetings per week and maximum 24 hours meetings per week. There were over number of teachers for several mathematics and natural science lessons (mathematics, biology), social science (economy, geography), it is general that the lack of teachers for certain lessons occurred, such as culture and arts, handcraft and entrepreneurship

Abstrak:
Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif analisis isi atau dokumen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis beban kerja guru SMA Negeri di Kota Tarakan. Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan di Kota Tarakan masih terdapat 30,19 % guru yang belum memenuhi beban mengajar minimal 24 jam tatap muka per minggu dan maksimal 24 jam tatap muka per minggu. Terdapat kekelebihan guru untuk beberapa mata pelajaran MIPA (matematika, biologi), IPS (ekonomi, geografi), Umum dan terjadi kekurangan guru untuk mata pelajaran tertentu seperti seni budaya dan prakarya dan kewirausahaan
