Penerapan model discovery learning untuk peningkatan hasil belajar siswa tematik

Latar belakang masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu proses pembelajaran kelas 2 SD Negeri Karangasem 06 Batang siswa kurang aktif, kurang berpartisipasi, kurang terlibat dan tidak punya inisiatif. Dari hal itu banyak siswa yang hasil belajarnya rendah dan nilainya kurang dari KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tematik serta untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah model pembelajaran Discovery Learning yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tematik pada siswa kelas 2 SD N Karangasem 06 Batang tahun pelajaran 2020/2021.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas dua siklus. Penelitian ini menggunakan empat tahap tindakan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 2 SD N Karangasem 06 Batang sebanyak 14 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis ketuntasan dan analisis komparatif hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tematik pada siswa kelas 2 SD N karangasem 06 Batang. Pada saat pra siklus sebanyak 50,0% atau 7 siswa sudah mencapai KKM yang ditetapkan. Setelah diadakan tindakan siklus I, pencapaian siswa yang dapat mencapai KKM meningkat menjadi 71,4% atau sebanyak 10 siswa. Sedangkan pada siklus II, jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 92,9% atau 13 siswa. Nilai rata-rata ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pra siklus sebesar 70. Setelah tindakan dilaksanakan pada siklus I, ketuntasan meningkat dengan rata-rata nilai 76 dan meningkat kembali pada siklus 2 dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 80.
Implementation of discovery learning model to improve thematic student learning outcomes. The background of the problem in this research is the learning process of grade 2 SD Negeri Karangasem 06 Batang students are less active, less involved, less involved and have no initiative. From this there are many students whose learning outcomes are low and their scores are less than the KKM. This study aims to determine whether the use of the Discovery Learning learning model can improve thematic learning outcomes and to describe the steps of the Discovery Learning learning model that can improve thematic learning outcomes in grade 2 students of SD N Karangasem 06 Batang in the 2020/2021 school year. The type of research used in this research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles. This study uses four stages of action, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 14 students of grade 2 SD N Karangasem 06 Batang. Data collection techniques used were tests, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used mastery analysis techniques and comparative analysis of learning outcomes Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that the use of the Discovery Learning learning model can improve thematic learning outcomes in grade 2 students of SD N Karangasem 06 Batang. During the pre-cycle as many as 50.0% or 7 students had reached the set KKM. After the action cycle I was held, the achievement of students who could reach the KKM increased to 71.4% or as many as 10 students. Whereas in cycle II, the number of students who reached the KKM was 92.9% or 13 students. The average value of pre-cycle student learning outcomes completeness of 70. After the action was carried out in cycle I, completeness increased with an average value of 76 and increased again in cycle 2 with an average value of 80.
