Analisis istilah wacana kebijakan pembatasan sosial covid-19 di Indonesia

Pembatasan sosial covid-19 di Indonesia menggunakan ragam istilah yang dinilai mengandung wacana. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis identitas teks, ideologi penciptaan teks, hingga praktik sosial yang melatarbelakangi penciptaan teks wacana kebijakan pembatasan sosial terkait covid-19 di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis Norman Fairclough. Sumber data penelitian media online yang memuat istilah-istilah dalam pembatasan sosial covid-19 yang dinilai sebagai teks wacana. Kemudian, informan sebagai unsur akademisi dan masyarakat umum yang memiliki pandangan khusus terkait istilah wacana covid-19. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi tahap reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan mencakup studi dokumentasi dan wawancara mendalam berupa teks-teks dalam penanganan covid-19 dan tuturan verbal. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini ditemukan ada enam teks atau istilah wacana dalam penanganan covid-19 di Indonesia, yakni (1) lockdown, (2) social distancing, (3) physical distancing, (4) karantina wilayah, (5) pembatasan sosial berskala besar, dan (6) darurat sipil. Adapun ideologi penciptaan teks yang dimuat dalam discourse practice meliputi aspek produksi dan konsumsi teks. Dalam aspek produksi, teks dibangun sebagai wacana pencegahan covid-19. Wacana tersebut menuai resistensi masyarakat sebagai bagian dari aspek konsumsi masyarakat. Selanjutnya, praktik sosial yang melatarbelakangi penciptaan teks wacana kebijakan pembatasan sosial meliputi pertimbangan ekonomi dan pertimbangan politik. Pertimbangan ekonomi adalah cara pemerintah menjaga legacy ekonomi, sementara pertimbangan politik adalah cara pemerintah menjaga citra politiknya.
