Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kearifan lokal dalam tradisi lisan kepercayaan rakyat ungkapan larangan masa kehamilan, masa bayi, dan kanak-kanak masyarakat Minangkabau wilayah adat Luhak Nan Tigo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Sumber data adalah masyarakat Miangkabau wilayah adat Luhak Nan Tigo. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kata, kalimat, dan tradisi lisan masyarakat Minangkabau wilayah adat Luhak Nan Tigo. Hasil penelitian ini berupa (1) nilai tradisi Minangkabau wilayah adat Luhak Nan Tigo yang memiliki pengetahuan tentang alam yang nyata (natural) dan alam taknyata (supranatural) dan hubungan sebab-akibat, (2) nilai tradisi Minangkabau wilayah adat Luhak Nan Tigo dalam hal mendidik dan menanamkan nilai-nilai kehidupan kepada generasi penerusnya dilakukan sejak masih di dalam kandungan dengan mengutamakan pendekatan contoh atau
ketauladanan, dan (3) nilai tradisi Minangkabau wilayah adat Luhak Nan Tigo yang menjadikan keluarga sebagai basis pendidikan.

Abstract: This study aimed to describe the local wisdom in the oral tradition of folk beliefs in forbidden expressions of pregnancy, infancy, and childhood of Minangkabau indigenous territories Luhak Nan Tigo. This qualitative study used descriptive analysis method. The data were in the form of words, sentences, and oral traditions of Miangkabau indigenous communities. The data source was the Miangkabau indigenous living in Luhak Nan Tigo territory. The results of this study were: (1) the value of indigenous Minangkabau tradition of Luhak Nan Tigo territory who have both natural and supernatural knowledge and their causal relationships, (2) the value of indigenous Minangkabau tradition of Luhak Nan Tigo territory in educating and inculcating the values? of life to future generations from womb by prioritizing modeling approach, and (3) the value of indigenous Minangkabau tradition Luhak Nan Tigo territory which makes family as a basis of education.
