ABSTRAK

Terapi lingkungan merupakan salah satu bentuk upaya kuratif yang dapat dilakukan untuk membantu proses penyembuhan penyakit karena lingkungan berkaitan erat dengan stimulasi psikologis seseorang yang berdampak pada kesembuhan seseorang. Plant therapy merupakan salah satu terapi penting untuk menangani masalah klien dengan gangguan alam perasaan seperti depresi. Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dampak perubahan tingkat depresi usia lanjut dengan terapi lingkungan. Desain yang digunakan adalah Pre Experiment dengan metode pengambilan data pre dan post test one group, Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa terapi lingkungan plant therapy tidak efektif terhadap tingkat depresi pada usia lanjut di Panti Werdha.

ABSTRACT

Environmental Therapy is a form of curative efforts that can be done to help the healing process of the disease because the environment is closely related to one’s psychological stimulation that affects a person’s recovery. Plant therapy is one of the important therapy to deal with clients with a feeling of natural disturbance such as depression. Purpose the studi is identify change of deprresion level with Environmental therapy on the elderly. The research which is used is Pre-experiment with pre and post test one group. Conclusions of this study is that environmental therapeutics plant therapy is not effective against depression on the elderly in Werdha Nursing-home.
