Perbandingan Rasio Profitabilitas dan Solvabilitas PT. Indosat Tbk, Sebelum dan Masa Pandemi

Profitability ratios and solvency ratios are measuring tools on the financial performance of a company to measure profits and settlements against a company's burden in managing the company well. The company's financial performance is influenced by several factors including the condition of the economic system at home and abroad. The Covid-19 pandemic is also one of the factors that affect the world economic system. The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on cellular telecommunications service companies in Indonesia, one of which is PT Indosat Tbk. This study aims to determine the differences in profitability ratios (ROA and ROE) and solvency ratios (Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio) at PT Indosat Tbk before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research data uses secondary data from the quarterly financial statements of the telecommunications company PT Indosat Tbk which took the years 2018-2019 before and during the 2020-2021 Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is comparative quantitative using different tests (Paired Sample T-Test and Wilcoxon signed test) which is processed using the SPSS 25 software application. The results of this study indicate that the differences in profitability ratios (ROA and ROE) before and During the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a difference in the significance value so that H1 was accepted. The difference in solvency ratios (Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio) before and during the Covid-19 pandemic did not have a significant difference, so H2 was rejected.
