Abstract

This study aims to reveal the application of the 5C 7P principles used in refinancing at Panin Dubai Shariah Bank, Malang City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a field research model (field approach), namely by describing data to determine the condition of a situation or phenomenon accurately and systematically sourced from the research location. The choice of research location at Panin Dubai Shariah bank in Malang is due to the innovation of financing products with unique collateral.  Methods of data collection were conducted throufh interviews, observation, and documentation. While data analysis used data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions and verification. Where the result of the study indicates that the refinancing financing at Panin Dubai Sharia Bank uses the 5C 7P principles in analyzin the eligibity status of constumer, but the whole principles is not applied considering the types, characteristics, and objectives of refinancing financing itself. Therefore, it can be concluded that the refinancing financing at Panin Dubai Sharia Bank only applies the 5C (Character, Capacity, Collateral, and Condition of Economy) and 3P (Personality, Payment, and Protection) principles.
