Wishtleblowing dalam Perspektif Islam

Abstract

This study aims to explore and compare the concept and scope of whistleblowing law disclosure from a sharia perspective. This discussion uses a qualitative approach that is a literature study. The findings of this study show that the concept of wishtleblowing in Islam is different from the concept of whistleblowing in general because it contains elements of tawhid and sharia. From the time it was first introduced during Islamic rule to the present, this idea has been fundamentally dynamic and practical. Wishtleblowing behavior in Islam also prioritizes the interests of the public which aims to fulfill the five objectives of maqashid sharia and adjust to the era of globalization development by means of system renewal in the company. The role of whistleblowing is very important to overcome corruption as a global issue that plagues various countries, causing great damage to social, economic, and political aspects.
