Abstract

This study aims to find out the perception of sugarcane farmers about Islamic banks. In this study, the researcher used a type of descriptive quantitative research. The respondents in this study were sugarcane farmers in Ngares Kidul Village, Gedeg District, Mojokerto Regency. Data was obtained through questionnaires. The results of this study show that the perception of sugarcane farmers in Ngares Kidul Village, Gedeg District, Mojokerto Regency about Islamic banks is quite good. Because they got an average percentage score of 62% from the education variable, 58% for the value variable, and 47% for the information variable. Because a good perception is not born from a high level of education, but from those who want to continue to learn to find information about Sharia banks from various digital media and from non-digital such as newspapers, magazines, TV. However, there are some of them who do not look for that information, but they are accidentally informed about Sharia banks by people in their neighborhood.
