Penilaian Kriteria Tepat Guna Lahan Dalam Konsep Green Building Pada Rayz Hotel Malang

Perkembangan dan kondisi iklim global yang saat ini telah berubah dibandingkan dengan masa sebelumnya, mendorong perlunya tindakan khusus dalam berbagai aspek, guna menanggapi fenomena yang ada. Bangunan hijau (green building) merupakan upaya dalam bidang pembangunan dan pengolahan lingkungan, dengan perancangan yang mempertimbangkan lingkungan dan krisis energi. Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi di Indonesia dengan pelayanan yang kompleks, mulai dari interaksi mahasiswa dengan dosen di lingkungan kampus, serta pelayanan publik pada Hotel Rayz. Pada bangunan - bangunan kampus UMM, memiliki aktifitas sangat tinggi dikarenakan selama perkuliahan berlangsung terdapat beraneka ragam, sama halnya dengan rumah sakit maupun hotel yang dimiliki oleh UMM. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, perlu adanya penelitian tentang penerapan penilaian kriteria green building pada bangunan di kampus UMM, agar dapat diketahui rating /sertifikasi sebagai tolak ukur sudah sejauh mana tingkat penerapan kriteria green building pada bangunan di area kampus UMM. Rayz Hotel telah mencapai nilai 9 poin dari total 16 poin pada kriteria Appropriate Site Development. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Rayz Hotel telah mengimplementasikan konsep Green Building pada kriteria tepat guna lahan, yang masih dapat dikembangkan melalui pembangunan fisik dan non fisik.
