Rasionalitas Pemilih Muhammadiyah Menjelang Pemilihan Presiden Indonesia Tahun 2024

Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan rasionalitas pemilih Muhammadiyah. Penelitian ini sangat penting untuk diteliti karena masih jarang yang mengangkat topik tersebut. Selain itu yang membedakan penelitian ini dengan yang lain ialah terletak pada pendekatan sosiologis yang digunakan yaitu teori tindakan sosial Max Weber sebagai alat ukur rasionalitas pemilih Muhammadiyah. Sementara metodologi Kualitatif dan jenis deskriptif digunakan untuk mengungkapkan motif dan makna para pemilih, dimana data primer diperoleh melalui pertanyaan terbuka kepada subjek penelitian melalui Google formulir yang didukung oleh data sekunder berupa dokumen resmi Muhammadiyah, pernyataan sikap pimpinan Muhammadiyah dan pimpinan Orgnisasi Otonom Muhammadiyah tingkat Pusat. Dari keterpilihan tersebut ditemukan tiga (3) rasionalitas nilai yang menjadi motif dan pemaknaan pemilih dalam memberikan pilihan tersebut yaitu Aspek kepemimpinan, ideologi dan kebijakan yang bermuara pada tiga nilai utama yaitu persatuan keadilan dan kesejahteraan. Pada penelitian ini juga ditemukan motif Non-rasional yaitu motif tradisional dan afeksi/perasaan) atau emosi keagamaan serta motif eksistensi kelompok yang kesemuanya pada pemilih yang memberikan dukungan kepada Anis Rasyid Baswedan. Sementara aspek rasionalitas instrumental tidak ditemukan pada pemilih yang memberikan dukungan kepada ketiga calon presiden tersebut.
