Politik Kontrol Kinerja dan Respons Guru Sekolah Dasar terhadap Platform Merdeka Mengajar

Riset ini bertujuan menganalisa bagaimana PMM berfungsi sebagai politik kontrol kinerja dan bagaimana politik kontrol kinerja tersebut mendapat berbagai bentuk respons pada guru tingkat pendidikan Sekolah Dasar (SD). Dengan tujuan memperoleh peningkatan capaian hasil belajar siswa, guru telah menjadi subjek dari eksperimen kebijakan profesionalisasi yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah. Salah satunya melalui kebijakan penggunaan Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) yang awal tahun 2024 ini mulai digunakan secara wajib di seluruh sekolah di Indonesia. Sebagai sebuah platform, PMM tidak hanya menjadi wadah yang menyediakan berbagai guru untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan kompetensi seorang guru, tetapi juga menjadi alat kontrol yang membantu pemerintah memperoleh standar ideal guru melalui fitur-fiturnya yang mengintegrasikan seluruh kebutuhan, baik pedagogis maupun administratif. Melalui pendekatan studi kualitatif, peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara pada 12 guru SD dan 1 anggota Perhimpunan Pendidikan dan Guru (P2G). Hasilnya, riset ini menemukan: (1) PMM lahir untuk mengatasi kesulitan pemerintah memperoleh capacity to labor para guru; (2) PMM menjadi panoptikon digital yang digunakan untuk membentuk “standar ideal” guru; dan (3) guru yang kesulitan mencapai “standar ideal” tersebut cenderung melakukan “rule-breaking behavior”, sementara guru yang tidak kesulitan memiliki kecenderungan melakukan gamifikasi kerja.
