Pendekatan Best Option Counseling sebagai Upaya Menangani Dampak Negatif Toxic Relationship

Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak Best Option Counseling, layanan psikoedukasi daring, dalam menangani klien yang mengalami Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) akibat toxic relationship. Dengan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, penelitian ini fokus pada seorang mahasiswa pascasarjana yang mengalami PTSD karena kekerasan verbal dan emosional dari mantan pasangannya. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan catatan konseling. Intervensi dilakukan dalam tiga siklus action research menggunakan metode Butterfly Hug dan Motivational Interviewing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pendekatan trauma-informed dan kerja sama tim—terutama dalam aspek komunikasi, kompromi, kooperasi, koordinasi, dan konsumasi—sangat berpengaruh dalam pemulihan klien. Selama satu bulan intervensi, klien menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengendalian emosi, kepercayaan diri, dan relasi interpersonal. Model action research dari Kemmis dan McTaggart digunakan untuk mendukung refleksi dan evaluasi berkelanjutan selama proses konseling. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur kesehatan mental digital dengan menunjukkan bahwa layanan konseling daring yang terstruktur dan etis dapat menjadi intervensi efektif dalam penanganan trauma. Penelitian lanjutan dengan jumlah dan keragaman klien yang lebih luas disarankan untuk menguatkan generalisasi temuan.
