GUIDED IMAGERY UNTUK MENGURANGI RASA NYERI SAAT MENSTRUASI

Guided imagery merupakan teknik untuk membimbing dan mengarahkan orang kepada imajinasi menyenangkan menggunakan audio visual kinestetik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah guided imagery efektif untuk mengurangi rasa nyeri saat menstruasi. Desain yang digunakan adalah eksperimen single case study yang dilakukan pada 3 orang subjek. Hasil pengukuran dengan menggunakan skala numeric pain distress menunjukkan adanya penurunan intensitas nyeri menstruasi. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi pengetahuan bagi masyarakat bahwa guided imagery merupakan salah satu alternatif intervensi dalam mengurangi nyeri menstruasi.
